Psychedelic Integration
Psychedelic therapy currently remains illegal in Australia outside of clinical trials and the Authorised Prescriber scheme where MDMA- assisted therapy may be prescribed for PTSD and Psilocybin-assisted therapy for treatment resistant depression.
I recognise that many people are currently working on their own with psychedelics, or have accessed or plan to access plant medicines legally abroad. Therefore, I work from a harm-reduction framework to support clients to understand risk, aspects of working with psychedelics such as set and setting, and integration support
Challenging/Adverse Psychedelic Experiences
Some people may experience a difficult experience with prolonged adverse impacts if they were not prepared for the phenomena they may experience, meet the journey with strong resistance or journeyed in the absence of a safe container space. If you previously used psychedelics and are having difficulties making sense or grounding from your experience, I can support you to to work towards integration
Please note: I do not advocate, encourage or endorse the recreational use of illicit substances for any purposes, and cannot recommend or refer to any underground service or facilitate you to source any illicit substance.
The service I provide is for harm reduction purposes only
ACCESS TO MEDICINE-ASSISTED THERAPY
I am receiving a number of enquires from people looking to access medicine-assisted therapy following the TGA announcement to reschedule these medicines
In order to access treatment, you must have a diagnosis of treatment-resistant depression or treatment-resistant PTSD
You must also be linked in with a psychiatrist who has applied for and obtained Authorised Prescriber status. If you currently have a psychiatrist, you may wish to discuss with them if they plan to apply to become an AP
Please note: I do not have a list of Authorised Prescribers and cannot refer you
To keep up to date with the latest information, you can follow the Australian Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Practitioners (AMAPP)
